The 12d International Innovation Awards celebrates the ground-breaking work and extraordinary achievements of the global 12d Community. From clever macros to awe-inspiring projects, our users find ingenious solutions to challenging issues and push the possibilities of technology, engineering and construction.
Since 2012, these awards have honoured the successes of 60+ 12d Visionaries for their outstanding contributions towards advancing the world’s infrastructure.
2024 Awards
The 12d Innovation Awards are returning for 2024! Entries and nominations are now open for all users of 12d software. The winners for 2024 will be revealed at our 12d Tech Forum (28-30 July 2024).
Award Categories
2024 will hold award categories for Design, BIM & Visualisation, Survey & Construction, 12d Water, Customisation & Macros (in Honour of Matt Monk), 'Banishing the Drafting Demon' and 12d Synergy.
Record Prize Pool
The 2024 12d Innovation Awards includes a record prize pool, valued at A$42,000.

How do I enter?
Entering is simple. First, download & complete the entry form (download it here). Be sure to include supporting material, such as HD screenshots, project photos and data. Then submit your completed entry to techforum@12d.com.
Who can enter?
The Innovation Awards are open to all users of 12d Model and 12d Synergy, except 12d employees, its distributors and trainers, and their immediate families.
Can I enter in more than one category?
Yes, you can enter as many categories as are applicable.
Can I submit more than one entry?
Yes, you are welcome to submit as many entries as you would like.
Can we enter as a team?
Yes, individuals and teams are welcome to enter the Innovation Awards.
Someone else at my company was the Overall Winner of the 2021 Awards; can I still enter this time?
Yes, you can still enter this year’s Awards.
What if we’re part of a Joint Venture?
If your entry is a winner, we can have an extra trophy made for the other half of the JV to display at their office, too!
Is my idea innovative?
You’d be surprised what can be considered innovative…sometimes people think they’re just doing their everyday jobs, but actually, they’re using 12d products in a way not many would consider – it’s definitely worth entering to see how you stack up against others in the industry!
Do I have to attend the 12d Tech Forum to enter?
No – we encourage all entrants to attend the Tech Forum if possible, but you won’t be penalised for not being there; winners are winners and we’ll chase you up afterwards to give you your trophy and prizes!
Where will the Innovation Award Winners and Highly Commended entries be featured?
The Innovation Award Winners and Highly Commended entries will be showcased on Day 3 of the 12d Tech Forum 2024 and published on our websites. Additionally, selected entries may be turned into case studies for industry media.
